ITTP Prague TEFL: Weekly Photo

This week we met up in Prague with Harry Shires and his adorable Mum.
Harry took the ITTP Prague Onsite course in..? (was it 2006 Harry?)
Really, so long ago now?
Since then Harry taught briefly in Prague before completing an English Literature degree back home in the UK and he is now booked onto a UK University PGCE teaching degree place (Postgraduate Certification in Education), beginning this coming Autumn semester 2012.

Thank you both for taking the time to come and meet us on a rainy day in Dejvicka and we hope your flight back to the highest airport runway in the UK was a smooth one :-)

Also, congratulations Harry on being awarded your place at Uni next year.
Well done to you!!!

The monument where the photo is taken is in remembrance of the Czech World War II air force pilots who gave up their lives, fighting for the allies (and in particular for the Battle of Britain in the Summer and Autumn of 1940). Sadly, when the surviving pilots returned home to Czechoslovakia, instead of receiving a heroes welcome many were imprisoned as enemies of the newly founded communist government. Their story, made into a full feature film: Dark Blue World shows a dramatized account of their experiences.

Hezky den!/Lovely day!

Neville :-)
