A great way to meet locals and brush up on your Czech at the same time is to offer language exchange. Just place an ad online or create a flyer and put it out there. You can post your flyer at cafes or the central library for example. Offering to teach 30 minutes English in exchange for 30 minutes Czech works well and if you are interested in dating a local or simply looking to make friends, then this can be a great form of introduction.
