ITTP Prague TEFL Int.CertTEFL/TESOL Online course Review

Initially when I was searching for online courses I came across a whole load of negative stuff about online courses in general. The usual post was about them not being recognized by employers and then sometimes an added tip for a particular onsite in this or that location. This did make me somewhat suspicious of the intent behind these posts and luckily I came across this site so I could make a decision based on reasonably balanced information. Great site by the way! Initially I narrowed my choice down to a few schools but what I liked about the ITTP Online TEFL course offer was that they also ran an onsite course and not only an online operation. Plus, I liked it that they have featured in US press newspaper articles and this reinforced the overall image of the company for me.
Everything ran smoothly from the initial email to course completion and then to my teaching job. I completely recommend the ITTP Online TEFL program to anyone wanting to teach English abroad. I am a completely satisfied customer and as others have written, it does what it says on the packet.

ITTP Prague TEFL Int.CertTEFL/TESOL Onsite course Review

I recently took the course and here is my ITTP TEFL Prague review.
I agree with the previous reviewer's comments regarding the overall quality of the course but I disagree with his comments regarding the ITTP accommodation option. I was completely satisfied with my stay at their Prague Castle apartment and I personally thought the price was reasonable. Overall it was a very convenient no-hassle form of a month's short-term accommodation and without a huge deposit required or other money up front. We all got back our deposits in full promptly upon leaving and after speaking to graduates from another TEFL class in Prague I think we had a pretty good deal (they were housed over an hour from the center and in one of those communist-style Russian apartment blocks). I think it is true though that coming from the West as I do you will need to be prepared for less comfortable furnishings that you would probably expect back home. True is that here people don't usually have the money to buy dryers or dishwashers (although the ITTP apartment did have one. A dishwasher that is). I am non-eu (California, USA) and I found the transition into paid teaching a really smooth ride. A week after the course had finished up I was teaching full-time and the school are arranging my work visa for me. It was all pretty simple really. I give ITTP TEFL Prague a well-deserved 5 stars out of 5. No negatives I can think of. Only positives.
