This weekend my family are away as we are preparing for our next Int.CertTEFL/TESOL Onsite course in Prague, which begins tomorrow, and I decided that last night I was going to stay up all night and then make my way to the Charles Bridge in time for the 5am scheduled sunrise this morning. This weekend has been incredibly hot so I figured I'd record a photo of the bridge with the warming orb of the rising sun captured on film edging along the contours of the bridge spires. I was so wrong to expect reliability of an online weather forecast website and at around 5am this morning a thunder storm was passing over Prague, with the sun completely hidden from sight. Still though, I am happy that I finally did take part in this ritual and other people were also there on the bridge wandering around with their cameras - despite the wind, rain, thunder and lightning. There were a few professionals with their tripods and limitless zoom cameras, but most were people similar to myself who have a simple camera and who simply love to photograph.
