ok, so it's a lovely day and you feel like discovering the city.
Well, (and I know this sounds deep and corny at the same time) Prague is one of those cities that you really need to get lost in to truly find yourself within it. It IS true though :-)
BUT, if you fancy a free tour of the city (what, like free man?), if you want to get a quick gist of the main sights and learn a thing or two about the history, then get your butt down to the Old Town Square at either 10:45am or 2:00pm every day for the English speaking tours and look out for the red umbrellas located by the Astronomical Clock in the Old Town Square.
I passed that way this morning on my way to my dentist's appointment (ouch!) and I got chatting to one of their Spanish speaking guides who was super helpful (the free tours run different language options too so if you are for example with your Mexican friend and if you Habla Espanol, then ask one of the Tour Guides when the Spanish version is.
I didn't get a chance to ask what the 'catch' is but I would imagine that at the end of the tour there will be a polite gesture for a tip. I really don't know if that is how it works but it kind of makes sense that it would be the logic.
Sounds like a great way to spend a sunny morning or afternoon.
Plus, you will get to meet new people!
Here is a photo of a couple of the guides and their location in the Old Town Square:

Hope it helps!
